BARCELONA FABRA I COATS LANDSCAPE LAB

A whole three-month laboratory for the design of landscape and heritage projects in a Barcelona neighborhood.

The lab will be located in the creation spaces of the Fabra i Coats factory, a 19th century industrial building converted into the latest contemporary cultural and art center in Barcelona.

“LANDSCAPE AND HERITAGE AT WORK” INTERNSHIPS

Students attending the Master’s are strongly encouraged to participate in the ‘Landscape and Heritage at Work’ internship programme, which gives the opportuni-ty toactively take part in different type of applied research in landscape and heritage.

The students will be offered the chance to spend a period of time in prestigious institutions strongly involved with landscape planning and heritage management in Barcelona and other European cities.

TUITION PROGRAMME 1 : INDIVIDUAL ASSESSMENT FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF THE PROFESSIONAL PROFILE

A tuition programme specifically devoted to the improvement of the professional profile and CV of the Master’s students and orientated towards their successful introduction into the professional market in Barcelona and worldwide.

TUITION PROGRAMME 2 : INDIVIDUAL ASSESSMENT FOR DEFINING FURTHER PHD RESEARCH

A tuition programme specifically devoted to the orientation of the PhD research of those master students interested in developing an academic career.

OTHER ACADEMIC MASTER ACTIVITIES

1. Take Away Landscapes: Academic Seminars with International Key-note Speakers.

2. ‘In situ’ Landscapes: Visiting Landscape and Heritage Sites and Projects.

MASTER FINAL PROJECT

The Master’s Degree demands the development of a final project tutored by master teaching staff and developed within the framework of specific agreements established with the different public institutions supporting the programme.
